Economical implementation of competitive strengths of haul trucks by the generalization of scientific thoughts, tenets and principles forming a high level of competitiveness of the trucks. Methodology. Results are received through the application of several methods: critical analysis and systematization were used in order to determine the notion of competitiveness and indexes of quality evaluation; ABC-analysis and mathematical statistics were exploited in order to rank the indexes of competitive strength evaluation depending on technical characteristics of a vehicle; economical and mathematical modeling were applied in order to determine the expenditures concerning the transportation of rocks; finally, the method of network modeling assisted to the optimization of staffing and interrelated projects. Findings. Special aspects regarding competitive strengths of the haul trucks which are designated for exploitation in open-pit mines were revealed. This identifies technical characteristics of the trucks which are adjusted to special conditions and rules of roach transportation according to the requirements of mining enterprises. It is demonstrated that practicality concerning the substitution of certain haul truck models and means of developing their competitive strengths should be determined according to the integrated index of competitiveness which is supposed to be calculated as a ratio between group economical indexes and group technical indexes. The economical index is substantiated regarding the positive and negative influence of automobile technical options on its singular economical indexes. Unit costs of establishing new technological work conditions in an open-pit mine connected with putting new models of haul trucks into operation were set up. Direct expenses are taken into account as well as indirect fuel consumption required for open-pit work connected with haul trucks being put into service. The structure of the innovative project based on certain types of work is offered which can be independently performed either by an enterprise, business coalition or outsourcing principles. The structure of innovative activity management was developed owing to innovative department is being added to the automobile factory. Originality. Is embodied in the development of the concepts concerning economical evaluation of competitiveness of haul trucks and methods for improving competitive strengths of haul trucks which are bond with innovations. Practical value. Methods for improving competitive strengths of haul trucks concerning their exploitation in the conditions of open-pit mine are identified. Additionally, research and methodology tools of innovative project implementation to improve haul trucks are substantiated. | ||

Vagonova O. H. Analytical decomposition model of the indicator of corporate management quality and effectiveness [Електронний ресурс] / O. H. Vagonova, O. M. Vakulchyk, Ye. V. The purpose of the article is the grounding and choice of generalizing index which describes the corporate management quality and effectiveness, as well as the development of the analytical model of index decomposition in accordance with stages of capital transformation. Methodology. The results were obtained by applying the method of scientific generalization to formulate of scientific problems and general conclusions; statistical method to calculate dynamic indexes of basic indicators of mining enterprises' activities; method of simulation to develop an indicator of corporate management quality and effectiveness; analysis and synthesis were used to construct the analytical decomposition of generalizing index and determine the influence factors. Findings. Index of quality and efficiency of corporate management was grounded and selected. An analytical model of decomposition of this index considering certain basic economic factors of company operations and dependencies of their dynamics was developed. The proposed expanded (compared with the "golden rule of economics") model of the dynamics of basic indicators of activity of the company describes stages of transformation processes taking place at the company - the conversion of an enterprise's investment (physical) capital into the market capital. The dynamics of the market value of PJSC "Pivnichnyi GZK", and the basic economic indicators of its activities during the period from 2007 to 2015 was analyzed. It was determined that only in 2010 the dynamics of indicators corresponded to the model offered for companies with corporate management. Indicators of the analytical decomposition index of the corporate management quality and efficiency of the PJSC "Pivnichnyi GZK" were analyzed, the dynamics tendencies and influence on the ratio of the market value of the enterprise and the value of assets were determined. Originality. For the first time, an analytical decomposition model of the quality and the effectiveness of corporate management indicator was proposed, management was calculated as the ratio of the market value of the enterprise to the value of its assets and can be represented as the product of four factors, which consistently describe stages of capital transformation: asset turnover, the share of value added in the income, part of the profit in the value added, ratio of the market value to the enterprise profit. The "golden rule of economics" has been further developed by additional indicators: the market value of the company which characterizes the enterprise management efficiency, and added value, which is created at the enterprise and is distributed among all the participants of corporate management. Practical value. The presented methodical developments allow the management of joint stock companies to apply the mechanism of managing change of the value of enterprise capital based on the generalizing index which displays the ratio of the enterprise's market value and the value of its assets and can be decomposed on separate financing ratios, forming information and analytical support of the management process to determine the trends of effectiveness development, searching for opportunities for growth and influence factors. | ||

Scientific substantiation of strategy of further uranium production waste management of the "Prydniprovskyi Chemical Plant" Production Association ("PCP" PA) and directions of possible use of waste storage areas in the future. Methodology. The results were obtained through the following methods: critical analysis and systematization while estimating the impact of uranium production wastes on the population and territory; statistical and economic analysis while studying socio-economic and ecological consequences of uranium production waste disposal on urban lands; mathematical modelling in economics and optimization while substantiating directions of further management of uranium production wastes. Findings. Influence of different factors on choosing a strategy of further management of uranium production wastes of the "PCP" PA is evaluated. Considering the requirement for long-term maintenance of conformity of radioactive waste (RAW) storages state with laws and regulations in force and minimization of expenses on servicing them, a strategy of further management of uranium production wastes of the "PCP" PA has been developed. The strategy focuses on taking a number of remediation measures on contaminated territories which allow putting them out of service and regulatory control and getting these territories round to free, unrestricted or at least beneficial use by local communities or new owners. A business mechanism of implementing the strategy of further treating of uranium production wastes of the "PCP" PA is suggested. It includes preparation, selection, design, technology and substantiated trends of possible use of the lands in the future, which are directed at minimizing costs on servicing the storages. Originality. New conceptual approaches to the strategy of further management of uranium production wastes of the "PCP" PA have been suggested and the business mechanism of implementing the chosen strategy has been improved. Practical value. A process algorithm for putting storage areas out of regulatory control is developed and the procedure of planning and taking measures on remediation is justified according to the optimization principle. The most appropriate ways of using the storage areas of uranium production wastes of the "PCP" PA after their remediation are proposed. | ||

A theoretical overview of the conceptions related to financial support of the city government, as well as scientific and applied substantiation of the conditions necessary for the formation of the territorial infrastructure, which will enhance potential prospects of its enterprise development. Methodology. By way of scientific generalization, we have determined the peculiarities of using enterprise approach to creating the objects of territorial community infrastructure and developed an analytical approach to assessing the schedule of the received payment disbursement in terms of credit price, provided a quantitative assessment to different options of liabilities discharge. Findings. Analysis has been used to justify the dependence of the raised funds costs on the schedule of their disbursement. Economic prerequisites, which significantly influence the final results of the enterprise project, have been specified. Emphasis has been made on the possibility to optimize financial and credit relationships between business subjects and banks. The optimal interest rate, which ensures satisfactory demand for credit financing, has been identified. Feasibility of the accelerated schedule of credit resources disbursement has been proved for the conditions of putting the object into the starting operational capacity. Organizational and economic prerequisites of financial solutions to social problems associated with the territorial community demands were determined in terms of enterprise approach principles. Originality. It has been established that there is an analytical dependence between the total costs of the credit reimbursement and the term of the business object commissioning into operation. It was found that the crediting schedule (accelerated, regular, slow) influences the value of the involved costs. The advantages of using enterprise approach to implementation of projects related to the development of infrastructure on the community residential territory have been determined. Practical value. It was proposed to apply an alternative approach to ensuring development of the territorial community in conditions of limited target financing. | ||

Development of a structural and systemic approach to determining the effectiveness of the functioning and internationalization of the country's mining and metallurgical industrial groups and the formation of their possible development vectors. Methodology. The results of the presented scientific research were obtained using general and special methods of cognition: abstract-logical analysis, systematization and combination, method of theoretical generalization, method of dialectical cognition, deduction and induction, statistical analysis, econometric method of trend formation. Findings. Approaches to the determination of performance indicators and the level of internationalization of mining and metallurgical industrial groups, which were dynamically formed in the modern conditions of the functioning of multinational companies, were systematized. Principles of calculation, system of indicators of efficiency and level of internationalization, which were chosen to evaluate the leading mining and metallurgical industrial groups of Ukraine, and methodical approaches to the calculation of performance indicators and evaluation of the level of internationalization were substantiated, and analytical conclusions were formulated. The forecast was made and the development vectors of the country's leading mining and metallurgical industrial groups were established based on the econometric calculations. Originality. Structural and systemic approach was justified to measuring the efficiency of operation and the level of internationalization of mining and metallurgical industrial groups of Ukraine, which is built on the principle of hierarchy, includes logically consecutive stages and provides an opportunity to determine the actual development vectors of mining and metallurgical industrial groups of Ukraine based on the econometric trend. A close relationship was established (on the basis of the calculation of the coefficient of determination) of performance indicators and the level of internationalization of mining and metallurgical industrial groups of Ukraine with the time factor. At the specification stage, trends (parabolic, logarithmic, hyperbolic, linear ones) were selected, their parameters were estimated by the method of least squares. The statistical significance of the equation was tested using the coefficient of determination and Fisher's test. Practical value. It consists in the possibility of using the results of the conducted research for scientific developments and practical activities. The feasibility of systematic use of performance indicators and the level of internationalization in the practical activities of the leading mining and metallurgical industrial groups of Ukraine has been proven. The structural and systemic approach, which is built on the principle of hierarchy, provides an opportunity to determine the current development vectors of the leading mining and metallurgical industrial groups of Ukraine. | ||
